I took a 100% Cashmere sweater from my closet and unraveled it. Crazy? No. It was a thrift store purchase I was done with and wanted to give it new life. I took the yarn and knit a pair of cashmere socks for my husband. I added an extra thickness of yarn in the toe and heel for more strength and wearability. Finished the project by giving them a good steam with my Rowenta iron to “block” them. The socks fit and feel so good…like sweaters for his feet! Totally recycled and repurposed. Oh Yah!
