Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Cotton blend fabric. I saw the vintage pattern 3781( The American Weekly) and did not want to pay the vintage price. It was an easy pattern to copy, so I recreated the design by draping to create my pattern, though I made a few changes to suit my own style. I omitted the zipper because my fabric had a nice stretch to it. I also omitted the front pockets and changed the skirt so it’s not a circle skirt. The pattern called for a regular buckle belt, but I made a fabric belt in the same material and added the bow. The last photo is a quick shot of the initial draping I did. The dress could have used a pressing, sorry
