From my stash I contrast this plain pink taffeta with a printed fabric that looks so much like Egyptian architecture to construct a plain simple dress. I wore it to work because at times I really want to depict a happy mood and I think the mission was accomplished.
The top of the dress is lined. It has pleated neckline at the front and simple and easy pleated sleeves made from two rectangular piece of fabric.
The skirt was inspired from an old burda skirt pattern 8155. The skirt style is a pencil skirt with a curved waistband that extends beneath the bust It has four belt carriers, two at the front and two at the back. An invisible zip is enclosed at the side.
It was so comfortable to wear and I felt so girly and not to mention that the Pink really suits me.
What do you think???

Thank You Mary :-) Sometimes when I go shopping for fabrics I will stumble upon small pieces of material mostly 1yd that I fell in love with and really don’t want to leave without buying. In the end it can only make a dress and since I love dresses it work in my favor, hence the unique creations.
