Inspired by topography and geographical maps, I translated my inspiration into a dress filled with textures and form. Features a patchwork of different fabrics and a concealed button.

Black cotton twill, black waxed shantung, black cotton polyester blend, black striped organza, black fringed twill. Lined in python skin printed 100% polyester

Very cool, especially since it’s tone on tone. My husband used to hike a lot, and I remember those topography maps laid out all over the place right before a big hike. I can see why they inspired you, and it’s really fun knowing what was behind your finished piece.
