I was invited to go out with my friends for a girls’ night and decided I needed a new outfit. This simple dress was so quick.
I used this pattern: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/drawstring-jumper-dress-no-pattern-required
The fabric is Alexander Henry’s Kicks in gold. It’s a quilting-weight cotton, so it’s got more body than I would have liked, making it look more like a muu-muu than a dress. I think the gold belt helps with that. When I have a moment I will add an elastic to bring it in.
