I wanted to make a pencil skirt so I made up a skirt block. I made a high waisted skirt but it looked kinda too business like. I had loads of leftover fabric though so I turned it into a dress. I used the bodice from Burda pattern #7829, changed it a little, made it strapless. I added boning to make sure it stays up. I was so happy – I didn’t know the word for boning in Hungarian but the girl in the shop understood what I was describing :) Success!
I have just changed the photos I had up for this creation – they showed too much of my hideously messy room!
Snakeskin print fabric – I don’t know what kinda fabric it is. It’s stretchy and quite thick.
Boning.
