Reading on the latest trend from Paris Fashion Week and I realized that one shoulder dresses are still a design that are still popping up on the runway as trends.
I quickly search for a project I did in 2009 to wear to my high school reunion. I was so elated when I found it. The pic is not great but I am still going to share it, really hope you can see the details. The style was from the BurdaFashion November 2009 issue. The very first dress I ever made from a magazine.
I so have history with this dress, wearing the latest trend before it even reach my home town. The style and the reunion was in the month of November and I was the only one that had on this style I so created an impact at my reunion that I got so much compliment for the entire night. I was so overwhelmed that from that day onwards I wanted to get my hands on more of these magazines.
The dress is one shoulder with a 3/4 length puff sleeve. Asymmetrical hem and an invisible zipper at the side.
Do you think I made an impact back then? Or can I wear this style now since one shoulder is still a trend?
