My adaptation of a antique coat pattern. Shawl color jacket. The scarf has embroidery floating in between layers of vintage millinery tulle.

Thank you so much for the compliment! So nice when people appreciate the things we make. I’m having a blast with these antique patterns. Got vintage velvet washing now, trying to decide whether to make it out of the Jacket pattern or the Robe pattern???? Can’t decide!
That fleece jacket is fabulous! You’re gonna need it, living in Wisconsin. ;) I would so wear that!

Thank you! I couldn’t get the close up picture to load before work so it is a little hard to tell what it is! I’ll try it get it posted again. The jacket has a shawl collar. The scarf is made from vintage millinery netting. I cut the flowers and vines embroidery from a piece of silk fabric and then sandwiched them in between the layers of netting. I believe they call it floating. I was going to apply the embroidery to the collar and cuffs but this is so dramatic I liked it best! I’m in love with this jacket!
