I hate that shop bought jeans never fit so decided to make my own. These have front, back and a pencil pocket oh yes! I covered the buttins with the same fabric I lined the front pockets with.
I did a trial run using a built-by-wendy pattern and it was such a trauma it took me months to work myself up to do the real thing! It was worth the effort though. I worked out how to put in front pockets as the pattern LOOKs like it has them…but dosent, mine gape a bit but are VERY deep and functional : )

These are great! In the third pic the fabric even looks like pinstripe – love it!
