This is a small handbag that I made using two varieties of a purpley-pink print fabric. I altered the handles to make them longer and added the tassle detail on the front. The bag has six outside pockets in total. I lined it with a cotton interfacing fabric to make it a bit more sturdy. I took ages to finish it as I couldn’t see how it would all go together – should have just got on and done it, cos it was easy in the end!
About a quarter of a metre each of pink/purple print, lining fabric, one zip, a tassle I saw in a box of reduced things at the checkout of the fabric shop.
Simplicity It’s So Easy 2830 Bag / Tote In Two Sizes. I made the smaller bag but with long handles so that I could wear it over my shoulder. It holds quite a lot!
It is a little like the Jocole square bottomed bag
