This is a fun, simple, stylish top that flatters any figure. I chose to make it in a super stretchy knit that had a great print and fantastic drape. I found the Burday Style Magazine pattern to be spot on and easy to follow. I love pairing it with white jeans this summer and have also worn it with a solid colored straight skirt of a similarly weighted fabric. Top looks great under a denim jacket and would even work under a more tailored, business jacket and skinny jeans with pumps. Accessorize this baby right and you could ROCK it with some skinny leather pants, stellar heels and plenty of metal layered bracelets and bangle or dramatic earrings…eyeliner and punky hair too!
Stretchy knit with good drape, medium weight. Check out the swimwear section of the fabric store for some great options! Use fuseable bias tape in the shoulder seams to stabilize and a great help with hems? I use a fuseable hem tape.
