I cannot stress how simple this dress was to make. Basically take your chosen length of fabric and the width is just slightly wider than 2 inches above your bust point, cross the two ends over and then sew along and down. I went to about mid thigh to give the dress a lovely split. Then twist it around to your front gather under the bust and sew away! It not my best and from certain angles i looked incredibly pregnant, and it would be a fantastic maternity dress! But when your going to a posh manor house, have nothing to wear and ponly a day to get ready, it went quite well!
