Burda Style For people who sew

Yay my first garment! I already had a set of jeans, white linen shorts and some gabardine/dressy grey shorts for summer, but I really needed a pair of tan chinos. So I decided it would be a good time to make my own. Since I’m pretty much the male equivalent of Kate Moss, I took the Jochen pattern and slimmed down the legs. The waist area is still a little large believe it or not.. It was really fun shopping for the buttons. I decided to use a cherry colored wood button for the front and these neat metallic crest buttons for the pockets. Made a ton of mistakes along the way, but all in all I’m pretty happy with it!
