Burda Style For people who sew
Description
A friend asked me to make her a shirt with ruffles in silk.
We couldn’t find any printed silk that she liked so I cut up a silk skirt that I had never worn to create the shirt.
I made the pattern myself, adding ruffles to the collar, armholes and across the yoke.
There were some tricky moments as the skirt had been cut on the bias but I got there in the end.
And my friend is very happy with the finished result.
