Supplies:
1 suit jacket
Seam ripper
STEP 1 Use your seam ripper to carefully detach the sleeves from the armholes. If your suit jacket is lined, remove it as well.
STEP 2 Pull out any loose threads and steam flat the seam allowances.
STEP 3 In one of the lining seam allowances on the inside of the jacket, make an opening big enough for your hand to fit in.
STEP 4 Through the opening, grab the lining and jacket fabric so they are right sides together. Pull out of opening and stitch together at 1/2″ seam allowance.
STEP 5 Repeat STEP 4 for other armhole, then pull fabric out of opening to show right sides out.
STEP 6 Edge stitch closed small hole (opening) in lining.
