Pretty much what the title says. Made the pattern myself, based on a few shirts I own.
Rated Intermediate simply because knits can be a pain to sew, especially for a beginner, but the actual construction is quite easy.
The shimmer makes it dressy enough to wear for an evening out with a skirt or nice slacks, but the style is versatile enough (I think, anyway) that it could be worn as a day top too, paired with jeans.
Shiny knit fabric, found in the clearance $1 a yard bin.

I love the cowl shirts! I would love to know how to draft the pattern! I just love the cowl neck collar!

hey thanks!!! I"m sure others would love this pattern too. I am always looking for something to throw under a suit jacket (shirts are fine but you know you have to iron them and they crease in wearing and often look just too formal), this would fit the bill perfectly.

oh what a great basic piece. Love it! looks great and dressy either for a night out or would look good under a suite jacket. if I drafted myself this – if only I could draft :( I’d be making them in every color I could find. Nice job!

I’m still figuring out drafting myself, slowly but surely! I will try to upload the pattern I made and used so you could get an idea of the shape, it’s quite easy.
