This is a sleeveless tunic with a continous collar. I’ve never tried continous collar before, and since I didn’t use any pattern I felt apprehensive… but it came out great and I’m pleased with it. At the last minute I added some belt loops on the sides and on the back just so it wouldn’t be too plain. Those have got decorative pin tucks on ‘em, just so they still wouldn’t be too plain if I decided not to use a belt.
My only regret is the choice of fabric. This particular one crinkles too easily. After less than an hour I started looking like dirty harrriet.
Main body: lightly woven linen.
Polyester for the collar, belt loops and arm hole facing.
