Two sleeping bags for two friends who each had a girl the same week. The sleeping bags have poppas on the shoulders and a full length zip on the left hand side.
Project is in Burdastyle Magazine 3/2011 pattern 148 Baby’s Sleeping Sack
Made from material in my stash. The outer is a brushed flannel from my Grandma, it was only 36" wide so I think it is either from the 50’s or the 60’s. The lining is some cotton given to my by a friend and the zips I had in stock. The only thing I had to buy was the poppas. Making these a great stash buster.

these are very sweet and also very practical so a perfect new baby gift from every perspective. I’d have loved to find one of these among the baby gifts when I had mine, I’m sure your friends will feel the same.
