I made this costume at the university with other 2 girls of my class. It was a course of history and technique of dance costumes.
We made it with 10 lyers of soft and stiff tulle alternated to make the skirt stand up and than we decorated it with leaves and pearls. We had some problems with the bodice, ’cause it was not well cutted but finally it fits perfectly to our dummy ;)
Gold tulle, cream silk, cream soft tulle, white stiff tulle, white soft tulle, gold pearls, white pearls, crystals
Thanks to Veronica and Angela, my classmate and my teacher :)

This is just gorgeous. I would love to do a course like this. I made a fitted tutu early last year and have to admit that I pretty much just made up the process as I went along. I thought it turned out nice… will have to get some pictures of it… anyway, just lovely, well done! :)

It looks amazing! Is it being used for a show? Or was it just a challenge?
