Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this costume at the university with other 2 girls of my class. It was a course of history and technique of dance costumes.
We made it with 10 lyers of soft and stiff tulle alternated to make the skirt stand up and than we decorated it with leaves and pearls. We had some problems with the bodice, ’cause it was not well cutted but finally it fits perfectly to our dummy ;)

…mh, no, esisteva qualche anno fa, io frequento il corso di Costume per lo Spettacolo (che tra l’altro hanno già chiuso…).
Adesso ci sono dei nuovi corsi, ma sinceramente non so come funzionino e nemmeno se c’è qualcosa riguardante il costume :/

Beautiful! I love the colors and pattern work on the skirt and bodice! Did you use a pattern or just draft it yourself?

Our teacher gave us the pattern of the bodice and we had to modify it to make it fit the mannequin :)

This is just gorgeous. I would love to do a course like this. I made a fitted tutu early last year and have to admit that I pretty much just made up the process as I went along. I thought it turned out nice… will have to get some pictures of it… anyway, just lovely, well done! :)
