Description

I call it “Slav skirt” because it reminds me of the clothes of my grandmother who was serbian, dark fabrics and little flowers. I actually made it first too short and added this flowery fabric to make it less “serious”, then I added the little belt with a little pocket because the skirt didn’t have any. I hope you like it even if my camera isn’t great and I could only take blurry pictures! Any comments are welcome!

Material Notes

Dark grey corduroy, liberty (I guess) cotton fabric, old pink lining

Me too, surely an inspiration for the belt with two D-ring fasteners and a zippered pocket attached, if I interpret the photos correctly! You made your grandmother proud with such an intelligent tribute.
