Burda Style For people who sew
Description
A Jolly Dicey joint project, comprising of a17th C slashed doublet, with 123 pieces of fabric in it! Not counting the bits for the piping… I drafted the pattern and made the lace collar and cuffs. Su made the doublet and Venetian breeches.
Material Notes
Wool Barathea, piped in black silk taffeta, lined in cotton sateen. The breeches and doublet are held together at the waist by tafetta ribbon points with silver coloured aglets.
