My first bag. It’s simple with no closure, good for the pub. I used a pair of old work trousers (slacks) for the outer and scrap from another project for the lining. I couldn’t source sew-in interfacing (of the correct weight) so I used calico and it worked well. The photos don’t do the fabric justice – it was hard to capture. It is a brown striped synthetic, a bit tweedy, with a silver shot/stripe about every 2cm. It gives a chevron effect. If I wasn’t so impatient to finish it could have been reversible (I chose not to hand-stitch the lining closed.) 31cm x 22.5cm

So cute! I like the lining, and the fact this bag is so casual!
