Burda Style For people who sew
Description
When I bought this fabric I had an idea of this dress. In my opinion this already was a dress or sth like this: you can see in the last pic: some rectangle with shirred band and straps. I thought it’s too much of fabric for me, but due to fabric’s transparency I should economise. So, the bust part is gathered with sewed on gathered navy ribbon, and it the back I used zipper and shirred leftovers [ so it’s perfectly fitted ]. The rest is shaped as a pencil skirt. It was my first attempt to sewing zipper in clothes, and so i did it few times when finally it looked neatly. And first time in my life I have made a fly: and I learned much. Petticoat [lining] is sewed inside cause the fabric was transparent. Uff, finally it’s made:)
