Description

I bought this fabulous cotton skull fabric a few months ago and immediately knew it wanted to be a unique skirt! I love this fabric, and the Kasia pattern is perfect for it. I hand-stitched the buttonholes and made covered buttons to match the contrast fabric on the hips. This project was challenging without being overly frustrating. I loved making this skirt almost as much as I love wearing it!

Cotton— skull fabric
Satin— red accent fabric (also used on the covered buttons)

    Oh my, this is so rockabilly, I love love love it!! I can’t wait to try it. The fabric is totally awesome, there’s some cool skull fabric in a shop i go to, this may be the perfect excuse to buy some. Good job, it’s gorgeous <3

    I love it! It will make the best Halloween skirt! the print is amazing and bold: surprise, contrast, indeed this piece grabs me like a rose: petals and thorns! great great job!:)
