Description

this is my little refashion project
..
i was organizing my closet the other day
and found two polka dot skirts i have for ages
that i stopped wearing (probably ‘cause i forgot i have them)
..
it is a bit ridiculous to have two same garments in different color
so i decided i don’t need any of them
what i need is a polka dot dress
another polka dot dress
..
i used pink dots skirt as it is, just removed the top seam
and self drafted bodice pattern and used white dots skirt to make bodice
and scrap of black fabric was transformed into waistband
..
i also used satin black bias binding for neckline and armholes
..

Material Notes

2 skirts (fabric unknown, some cotton/rayon mix maybe, if such a thing even exists), scrap of black stretch cotton fabric, 2,5 m of satin bias tape, invisible zipper, thread
