My client has two favorite skirts that fit her well. She needed work skirts, but couldn’t find anything in the stores that she really liked.
I used her old skirts as a basis to make these designs for her so that she could have the same perfect fit with a variety of looks. There were ten skirts total. These were my favorites. All made from home decor fabric and fully lined with vintage buttons from my collection.

Does home decor fabrics hold up well after washing? Do they tend to fade faster than standard fabrics?

Most were dry clean only fabrics, all chosen by my client. I would agree that home dec fabrics would fade faster under normal washing than standard garment fabrics.
