I started making the Jonny Dress with this fabric but decided that the pattern was too much for an entire dress so I just made the skirt part of the dress and added a high waist and zip and 4 button closure.

So glad you like it : ) The buttons and zip are at the front, but its versatile so I suppose you could swing it around to the back for a different look.

Sydney! I knew that fabric looked familiar – I have the beige and teal version, which I plan to use for a shirt. Nice to see how it looks as a skirt. Are the buttons and zip at the front or back?
