Den Haag, Nether...
I wanted to make something fun from this off cut of somewhat old fashioned wool fabric I bought a year ago. Draping it around my hips to try and come up with an idea, I came up with this. The skirt has a high waist with a long, corset-style shaped waistband, simple front and drape with hidden walking slit at the back. My own pattern.
wool with a check in yellow/brown with thin stripes in red and blue, blind zipper, lining fabric, fusible interfacing
