Description

Simple skirt, with elastic at the waist. After the baby comes, I can shorten the elastic and still wear the skirt.

For the applique I used a piece of fabric with a cute floral pattern and iron-on hem tape.

    LOVE it! i love making applique’s out of existing fabrics! i’ve put them on just about everything from jacket lapels to tshirts. i should post some of the ones that i’ve done… hmm……. . .

    very nice, I love the applique! I haven´t heard of that iron-on hem tape you mention… I´m curious how that works. Congrats on your baby! :)

      I had to improvise, because I can’t find double sided fusible interfacing. It’s almost the same thing, but the hem tape is really light weight.
