Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I liked the embroidery on an old skirt and decided to turn it into an obi belt. I padded the belt out with some cotton wadding commonly used for quilts.
I used more fabric from the skirt for the ties which I lined with the same pink lining fabric on the belt. After turning the belt out I finished the bottom hem by hand.
As it was a present for my friend Diane, and I’d run out of birthday cards, I made her a matching card to go with the present!
