This is my entry for the Sewing Republic & BurdaStyle Apron Remake Challenge.
Taking an old skirt that no longer fit and repeating the diagonal slant from the original pocket as an adapted split chevron pattern using a polka dot print I’ve done a refashion and remake all in one. I really enjoy the contrast of the bright blue polka dot print with the burnt orange. Now I have a bright and colorful apron which will shortly be covered in flour during my next round of bread baking!
