Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I used an old, worn out jean skirt that had been my favorite for years. It came to the middle of my calf- a length that I hate! So I shortened it. Then added 2 layers of chiffon ruffles on the bottom, an appliquéd flower with a stem and leaves and a layered flower with small glass pearl beads in the center. I also added a waterfall cascading out of the front pocket.
While it had been sitting in the back of my closet… well, my bum grew a few sizes. The model is my much smaller cousin, and since it doesnt fit me, its up for sale on my Etsy shop!
