Description

Really pretty skirt, summery.
Not so comfortable, though (because of the elastic ribbon in waist)

Material Notes

Cotton fabric, elastic ribbon

Sure! it’s really easy, this fabric is kind of thin but you can use almost any fabric. start off with measuring your waist and cutting the elastic ribbon to the same length. Then sew the elastic ribbon together so it creates a circle. After that: cut the fabric so that it’s as long as you want the skirt and approx. as wide as your waist-measure times two. Now sew the seem in the side of the fabric and then fold down the upper edge approx. 3 cm. Now: put the elastic ribbon on the folded edge and stick pins. You need to stretch the elastic ribbon when you stick the pins so that it ends up evenly divided. Sew a zigzag seam on top of the elastic ribbon, remember; you have to stretch the elastic ribbon while you sew (the elastic ribbon and the fabric have to lay close to eachother). Then all you need to do is fold the lower edge and sew. Good luck :)
