Skirt Burda 3/2008

I like this pattern very much and made two skirts. The last crumpled one is my very first ‘finished’ project ever:) I don’t know the name of this material, but it was easy to sew because it doesn’t fray. When I wear the skirt, I noticed it was very tight around the knee, I couldn’t make bigger steps so I ripped out the stitches of the end of both side for a few cm, but it ended up looking funny. For denim one I didn’t change the pattern.

Material Notes

dark blue denim

I think your skirts look good. At first I thought you used Burdastyle’s Marie skirt, because the front of your skirt looks a lot like that (and I changed my Marie to be like yours at the back, but with a slit to make walking easier)
