Description

So simple… a purse (bag) made out of a skirt. Find a simple skirt with lining, cut to the right shape, sew bottom edges, then sew the lining, leaving a little hole to turn the whole thing the right way. I use the scraps I cut off the bottom on the skirt to make the handles.

Material Notes

I found this cute skirt with pockets at the thrift store. The image is from a “Fig” kids t-shirt. I used the stretchy collar fabric from the t-shirt to make the orange stripes on the handles and part of the bottom hem to make the lop for the button. I also found the button at the thrift store!
