ladies and gentlemen,
my very first pair of jeans!!!
Before i only made some attempts to leggins and sporty jersey pants, but not a serius pair of trousers…
So ofr my first one i used a Burda young&easy (a/w 2010/2011) pattern for leggins, that well fits also semi stretched fabrics like the denim i had….the pattern is very simple actually, with an inside band at waist, side zip and a cut on the center back that goes down along the leg.
I’m very satisfied, and the best thing are the decorative rose seams…surprisingly straight!!!
I had only one problem: the size…the sizing chart told me i fitted a Burda40, and even adding a very very small seam allowance (1cm), i had to resize them because they were huge! I took away about 2-3 cm from all the side seams…but in the end they worked!
