Description
For my sister’s wedding last July (in theory summer) I made a green dress for myself. I think it is a New Look pattern, very easy, though I did have to make the size smaller, as usual. Is that so with burdastyle patterns too? I made it into a breast feeding dress with poppers and large hooks and eyes (for skirts) for extra surity. It needed extra bust darts, but the pattern was chosen very much for its adaptability into a feeding top. I think the bolero pattern was from Simplicity, also very easy, thankfully. The girls each had something in some really cheap but very pretty broidery anglaise called “poppy” (fabric land, bristol). The dress is a Burda sun dress (which I’ve made for her every year so far, and the bloomers and blouse are a pattern from New Look again, maybe, I can’t remember. The fascinator came from the burdastyle website.
