I made this for my sister’s homecoming dance. It was a bit hard for me to make cause I’m a beginner and only 13, but I really loved it!
I didn’t use silk jersey, I used satin for all three parts and a zipper.

hey i really like it. Is your sister’s name Kyla? that is my name and i have never met anyone with the same name. if so tell her she has a cool name. and again i lov the dress it is a really good job especially for one of your first, keep going – it only gets easier and quicker

upon further inspection, the next time you make it consider a lighter fabric (chiffon sheer, or a lighter satin) for the drape part. i think it will hang better.
other than that, i’m in love with what you did. i might have to copy cat!

that’s quite a project for a beginner! (and one so young) i hate doing zippers :) you did a great job!
