Description

I’ve totally fallen for the “sister mini” pattern of Vanessa Pouzet.
I had no difficulties to make it, it was an easy and enjoyable sewing project. From the beginning I am not a fan of “Mini Skirt” so I used the longest length. I used an old Haori (a short kimono-like jacket) for making this skirt.

The Kimono fabrics have defined width of 37 cm. Instead of cutting the fabric on the fold, I add about 1 cm of seam allowance on back pattern and made it from two pieces.
