I made this jacket of of heavy, warm jersey. It is based on a pattern in a burda style magazine from 2009 – a hooded longsleeved shirt. I altered it a lot, drafted my own pattern for the hood and the details on the shoulder, added pockets, a zipper and details in the front.
Originally, I wanted to make a jacket like the one my actor friend was wearing in a version of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure, but somehow the jacket changed into something completely different. Not too bad either.
