Simple Tote bag inspired by a project on http://www.diynetwork.com/decorating/simply-stylish-tote/index.html. I did a few modifications with the measurements, sewed in a bottom panel to hold it’s shape and added a snap closure and interfacing to both the exterior panel and interior lining as well as added interior pockets and a kanzashi fabric floral removeable pin on the exterior. Very easy project for any level.
100% cotton for both the exterior which I fused w/interfacing and interior lining which was fused with fusible fleece. I found the fabrics in a clearance bin at the local fabric store The yellow exterior is a Japanese symbol for ’eternity".
