This is a variant of a wedding dress I made last year – with some improvements.
The dress is deceptively simple style, with a whole load of hidden “extras”.
I have drafted the pattern myself and adapt it accordingly.
I have added a concealed side zip and the front is reinforced from underbust to hip.
The back is in 3 sections which flare from hip to hem to create a simple train.
I’ve used the scallop detail of the lace to excentuate the hemline.
All the seams are fell seams to ensure that the dress is as good on the inside as it is on the outside. And to provide comfort for the bride.
The fabric is ultra soft against the skin and makes you feel like a million dollars.
It is however, definitely one of those dresses that looks better with a body in it!
Bamboo viscose jersey
Stretch scalloped lace.
