Burda Style For people who sew
Description
McCalls 6111. This was a very easy dress to make, did French seams (only two main seams down the sides). I also made this dress in a black eyelet. The pattern doesn’t show how full this dress really is. I’m not tall enough to pull it off, but have several friends who can. I made two of this dress. I also thought it might be a good maternity dress, had a friend who was expecting and the chest area was to small for her so off it went to another tall friend. The best part about this dress is the razor back (I think). The worst part is cutting the pattern out, one huge body piece, so I had to lay it out on the floor- fun!
