My version of Kasia for the Suit Variation Contest. I think this is my new favorite skirt. It was surprisingly easy to make. Thank goodness at least one of the three pieces was :) I’m also very proud of this piece- the zipper is awesome :) I will post lining pictures in a bit.
Alterations to the pattern:
As always, see my blog for full details of the suit.
80% wool, 20% rayon, black twill weave from Fabric Mart- i love this fabric, but it’s somewhat difficult to work with :)
Intermediate
burdastyle again :) oh yeah, and i really can’t forget my husband for taking pictures for me! he puts up with so much :)

Thank you so much! Yes I also made the blouse- it’s from the JJ pattern, and I just altered the ruffles. This is a very easy skirt so you should try it soon! Especially without all the detailing… JJ is a bit more complicated, but if you find the tutorial for the sleeve slit that will help. Good luck!

An extremely sophisticated version of Kasia! I’ve made one myself without the pockets/buttons, but kept the gatherings on the back piece. This inspires me to make one more similar to yours. I also like the look of it in wool-blend!

I really like the Kasia even more like this, without the pocket-pouch… hm… I’m making one right now, WITH the pocket… Yours is really nice! If I make another one I’ll copy your idea :-). The jacket is really, really nice too… hope you did well in the suit-competition.
