My version of JJ as part of my Suit Variation for the contest!
I would post everything together as a suit, but I have too many pictures, and want to show the details :) This blouse took way longer than it was supposed to! Something like 10-12 hours because of all the finishing and working with silk! All seams are french seams (see the last picture). The only other major alteration I made was using one big ruffle down the middle rather than the little ones on the sides. It was inspired by juebejue’s beautiful black and white JJ :) I’m very proud of how it turnied out!
I hope you like it! See my blog for all the suit detail!

It looks great! The fabric is beautiful and I like how you’ve only used one set of ruffles. Well worth the 12 hours.

I like this JJ so much… the fabric, the details and the fit are just perfect! I just made a toile for a JJ and it’s very tent’like on me, even though my measurements almost exactily match the size I’ve chosen. Did you size down or did you only adjust the fit, it looks like it’s custom made for you (which, I guess, it is!)?
