I don’t know that I’d call this dress “It’s Sew Easy”… it’s more intermediate and I made this when i was a beginner. One of my best friends had a "Havana Nights’ themed wedding, so I made sure to dress appropriately! I don’t love the featherweight boning in the bodice… if I made this again I would take the time to install spiral boning for better wear and longevity. I also really need to learn how to install proper bra cups because the halter top doesn’t really allow for a regular bra. However, the silhouette is beautiful! I love the full skirt.
I used some sort of silky print that I found at JoAnn Fabrics with a coupon. I was so proud of myself, between the pattern and materials I spent less than $30 on this dress!
Take off with pleats, cut-outs, insets, and futuristic prints.
