The Pencil Skirt version of Simplicity 9825, a 4 gore, yoked skirt. Easy to make and very flattering. I added a lining and some bias trim with a navy and white diagonal stripe on it so the skirt wasn’t so “uniformy” as I used a pretty boring navy fabric. The first pictures show me wearing it with a Burda Lydia T-shirt. The skirt is blogged here
A very cheap stretch cotton sateen.

I have just read your great blog and enjoyed looking at all of your beautiful creations. No wonder there isn’t enough time in your day to do everything. You seem so busy. I really like this skirt and I think the navy and white bias tape give it a lovely finish.
