This is from a pattern I got from my grandmother (who is in the process of cleaning out her closets). It’s a simple a-line skirt and you can choose between 3 lengths. I added a couple pockets too using the tutorial for side-seam pockets here on Burdastyle. I learned that you should not clip the seams to iron unless you are POSITIVE that is where you want to put your pockets. I moved them up and then there were little holes I had to fix on the inside of the pockets. Oops.
Amy Butler 100% cotton fabric. Vintage pattern. Vintage lace from etsy.
Novice
My grandmother for the pattern, Burdastyle for the pockets, and my dad for the sewing machine.
