This pattern is out-of-print and what a shame! It’s one of my favorites. The design is simple and classic and I love the way the princess seams flow into the pocket panels. I regularly get messages through my blog with people asking if my pattern is for sale and I’m sorry to say but it will never go on sale! But if you do find this out there, I highly recommend it! I have some candy colored striped fabric I want to try next — the side panels are cut on the bias so it creates a really beautiful silhouette.
The dress in these pictures was made with a herringbone suiting fabric. It’s divine! I wear this dress when i have any important meetings because it looks crisp and professional. It also doesn’t wrinkle much, so it’s great for the office. I found the fabric at JoAnn Fabrics a long time ago and have seen similar fabrics since then.
