Description

I made this shirt just to try something new. It’s based on Simplicity’s 2447 pattern view F. It’s two yards of fabric I found on sale. I originally cut a size 10 but it was so boxy I kept altering it until I found the fit I like without it being too snug. My son saw it and asked if I could make him a shirt cut for a guy and I took that as a good sign.

Anyways, I will be making more shirts. I love the way it hits my hips and the sleeve length is just right.

Material Notes

2 yards cotton, eight 5/8" buttons, thread

The fabic reminds me Alan from Two and a Half Men :), but the shirt some how looks very stylish on you! I would say – casual chic. Like it a lot
